I have huge creative heart and soul. I love anything with rhythm- whether it’s the heartbeat of my son, driving down a windy road on a sunny summer day, the crackle of a campfire under the stars up-north in July, a warm breeze over Lake Michigan or running the bases after a stellar hit. What turns me on most of all is a good song that takes me on a spiritual journey either in the past or in my dreams for tomorrow. Music fuels my soul and is part of who I am. I grew up on rock and roll. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Mama’s and Papa’s and The Rolling Stones were played regularly throughout my formative years. I joke and say that I knew the words to all the Beatles songs while still in the womb! I wrote my first song when I was 4. Haven’t written in a couple of years though. I guess I don’t have much free-quiet time as a Mom and wife these days. Wouldn’t even trade it cause’ I’m raising a future rocker!
